About
Hi, I’m Gina — an actor, teacher, and unapologetic theater geek. I’ve pretty much always been on stage—or just off it—chasing stories and helping others tell theirs.
I earned my MFA in Acting from Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University, did the New York actor hustle (yes, that was me playing a sperm bank nurse on All My Children), then spent eight incredibly formative years in Maryland. There, I honed my teaching style—centering empathy, flexibility, and a genuine belief that developing artists need to feel seen and celebrated for exactly who they are. I taught at several colleges before finding a home at Prince George’s Community College, where I tripled student enrollment in the program, earned the rank of Assistant Professor, and found some of my proudest moments in the classroom and rehearsal hall.
After returning to my California roots, I came full circle, teaching at Santa Rosa Junior College—on the very stage where I once played Juliet in a Matrix-themed Romeo and Juliet (pleather trench coats, slow-mo fight choreography, the works).
These days, I’m more of a stage mom to my theater-loving kids, an avid audience member, and a reviewer with an appreciation for the oddly delightful.
By day, I produce events for The Press Democrat—award shows, conferences, speaker series. The venues are different, the content too—but at the heart of it, it’s still all about reaching an audience and putting on a great show. Call it Corporate Theater. Call it storytelling. I just call it home.
